Hold on tight or Fall with Grace. Heavily inspired by our children - who requested a swing to hang from the big Oak tree that overhangs into our garden... and so Uncle Mark made them an Oak swing!
Each swing is hand made and made to order using one piece of Solid oak.
We have spent a lot of hours researching and testing the best finish for our swings. Kate doesn't like the idea of having to sand and re-apply a protective finish every year, so we have found a hard wearing product that will last a number of years (and British winters!)
Perfectly sized for little bottoms and larger bottoms (measuring 65cm x 22cm x 4.5cm) We recommend your swing for children aged 3 and upwards and children to be supervised by an adult at all times .
The rope itself is a high quality, 20mm thick rope sourced from the UK, that does not rot and is soft to touch. You can choose from either NATURAL or CHARCOAL coloured rope. You can attach your swing to your tree in a number of ways and an appropriate knot is entirely suitable if you feel comfortable doing this. However, for complete peace of mind we recommend using the rope clamps as shown in the product photos (2 are required for each side of the rope. 4 in total). The rope does have a little stretch in it, so please bare this in mind when hanging the swing. When measuring the rope required for your swing - please note that you will need to wrap and tie to your branch.
We like to use to CAPITALS on our swings as we feel this makes it clear to read from a distance. However this isn't everyones preference. Please enter your engraving in the exact way you would like it to appear (Case sensitive). We can engrave hearts and stars as show in the picture.

The Original Tree Swing
We do recommend bringing the swing inside during the winter months if you are able to, as this will prolong the life of your swing. If this is not possible then the swing can be left outside and will last just fine. We do recommend checking the branch at least every two years to ensure your tree's branch is happy and healthy.
